A typical location photo shoot costs $200 (plus GST). For that the client will receive contact sheets of up to 20 high‐resolution photographs suitable for publishing.
All other expenses will be passed on to the client at cost, such as studio hire or make-up artist.
From the contact sheets the client can choose which images they would like to use. The cost of each image is based on the resolution required, as follows:
- 0.5 megapixels $25 (eg 800 x 600 px, suitable for screen presentation)
- 2 megapixels $50 (eg 1600 x 1200 px, 135 x 100 mm @ 300 dpi)
- 5 megapixels $75 (eg 2560 x 1920 px, 215 x 160 mm @ 300 dpi)
- 10 megapixels $100 (eg 3840 x 2560 px, 325 x 215 mm @ 300 dpi)
- 15 megapixels $125 (eg 4725 x 3150 px, 400 x 265 mm @ 300 dpi)
